Cookies and trackers

Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies may be used on the EZad website, for what purposes, for how long, and how to manage your preferences.

What is a cookie or tracker?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Other mechanisms, such as browser local storage, may also be used to remember information or a preference.

Some trackers are strictly necessary for the website to function. Others, particularly audience measurement tools, are activated only after you have given your consent.

Which trackers does EZad use?

The ezad.fr website uses a limited number of trackers for two main purposes:

  • Remembering your choice regarding audience measurement cookies.
  • Measuring website traffic and usage with Google Analytics, only after you have agreed.

EZad does not use advertising cookies, advertising profiling, or ad personalisation cookies on this website.

Cookies and storage used

ezad_cookie_consent

Type: browser local storage — strictly necessary.

Purpose: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies so that you are not asked again on every page.

Planned duration: 6 months, unless you change your choice, delete your browser data, or the consent system changes substantially.

_ga

Provider: Google Analytics.

Purpose: distinguishes visitors using a pseudonymous identifier in order to produce audience statistics.

Planned duration: no more than 13 months.

Activation: only after you have given your consent.

_ga_<identifier>

Provider: Google Analytics.

Purpose: stores session state and links interactions made during a browsing session.

Planned duration: no more than 13 months.

Activation: only after you have given your consent.

The actual duration may be shortened by your browser, your device privacy settings, or the manual deletion of browsing data.

Form protection with Cloudflare Turnstile

Website forms may be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated submissions and abusive use. Turnstile analyses technical browser signals and generates a verification token that is sent to the server.

In its standard configuration, Turnstile uses a single-use token. A technical cookie named cf_clearance may be placed only where the optional pre-clearance feature has been enabled.

For more information, see the Cloudflare Turnstile privacy addendum.

Consent and management of your choices

Google Analytics is not loaded unless you accept audience measurement cookies. Declining analytics cookies does not prevent access to the website or the use of its essential features.

The banner allows you to accept, decline, or customise your choices using options displayed at the same level. Both acceptance and refusal are remembered for no more than 6 months.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Manage cookies” button in the footer. Withdrawing consent blocks future audience measurement and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible from the website.

Audience measurement with Google Analytics

After consent, Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, session duration and general characteristics, traffic source, browser type, device type, and approximate location.

Analytics storage remains disabled when you decline analytics cookies. EZad does not enable Google Analytics advertising features on the website.

User-level and event-level data in the Google Analytics property is retained for no longer than 14 months, subject to the effective property settings.

Service providers and international transfers

Google and Cloudflare may process certain data from the United States or other countries located outside the European Economic Area.

Where such transfers take place, they are governed by the safeguards provided for under the GDPR, including an applicable adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where it may be relied upon, or Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate supplementary safeguards.

For more information about the related processing activities, see our privacy policy.

Changes to this cookie policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes to the website. You may be asked to provide consent again where a significant change affects the purposes or service providers involved.
